Why we invest

Sanku equips small flour mills in East Africa with foolproof equipment to add micronutrients to maize consumed by poor families.  Starchy foods, a staple for poor families, are devoid of micronutrients critical to physical and mental development.  Sanku designed, distributes and services a machine that attaches to small local mills and doses pre-mixed micronutrients at no added cost.  Fortification at small mills across Africa means kids will have a better chance of reaching their full physical and intellectual potential.
