After building three successful companies, Ravi spent a year volunteering with Grameen Foundation in Ghana and Uganda. That’s when he realized that many organizations that set out to help the poor have no meaningful way to reach them. The billions of people who need help the most are scattered geographically, mostly offline and almost half are unable to read. NGOs, companies and governments often know very little about them.
Ravi founded engageSPARK to develop survey tools that work via automated voice calls that everyone can understand. engageSPARK has created a platform to help partners – NGOs and governments – use these tools to get the information they need to do a better job for the people they serve. engageSPARK’s tools can dramatically improve an organization’s impact while consistently lowering its costs.
