M-Mama

Big Idea:
Emergency transport services across Africa

M-Mama offers an easy way for governments to provide emergency transport services to save mother and newborn lives. In addition to making government ambulances more efficient, they help recruit, enroll, and lightly train community drivers (“village heroes”). The M-Mama platform triages calls, arranges safe transport either between care facilities or from a patient’s house to a facility, and pays drivers.
