The state education system in India is vast and it’s proven exceptionally tough to get teachers to teach the right stuff in the right way so that kids learn. Peepul, together with principals and government officials, creates great teachers in government schools. Through exemplar schools and government partnership, Peepul trains, mentors, and effectively manages public school teachers to engage their students and be responsible for their learning. Their performance management systems build in 2-way accountability to improve every child in public schools learning outcomes.

Prior to Peepul, Kruti led Ark India's work to improve accountability in education, and their public private partnership in Delhi. Her previous experience includes McKinsey, where her expertise was in consumer goods, retail and agri-business. She’s also had stints at The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, where she specialized in fiscal policy and financial reform. She has an MSc in Development Economics from LSE.
