Hassan is a career conservationist and climate finance pioneer. He founded BioCarbon Partners, a leading forest carbon development social enterprise. After 10 years as CEO, Hassan stepped aside in 2021 to found a new ocean carbon removals start up. He holds a PhD in Political Ecology from Oxford University program.
