Lively Minds transforms rural moms in Ghana and Uganda into capable early childhood educators. Mothers learn how to run playgroups for preschoolers in their communities that incorporate sophisticated learning exercises into play. Their play curriculum helps mothers promote their child's natural curiosity, stimulate imagination and build social skills. With only moms as teachers, kids start school with the cognitive, social and emotional skills they need to thrive.
