Why we invest

An estimated 35% of women - and up to 45% of African women - experience some form of sexual violence in their lifetime. No Means No Worldwide developed a dual-gender model to address this violence epidemic. Their vaccine is “IMpower,” a package of curriculum and resources on sexual violence prevention, intervention, and recovery for high risk youth. They deliver the curriculum directly in select sites and provide technical assistance to other NGOs to deliver the model through a train-the-trainer approach.
