Kenichi joined Mulago in 2024 as an Investment Principal.

He spent his early career in teaching and administration roles and supported students from early childhood through university in Bosnia, Haiti, and Somaliland. Prior to joining Mulago, Kenichi advised nonprofits and philanthropies across the arts, climate, and education at The Bridgespan Group. He's also worked with nonprofits to replicate their programs at the GreenLight Fund.

Kenichi has degrees in International Relations and Finance from Tufts University. In his free time, he loves to take long naps, hike in Point Reyes, cry at the movies, and deep fry egg rolls.
