Rohit joined Mulago in 2021 as an Investment Principal.

He's spent time as an investor in early-stage climate and social ventures, and as an organizer for climate and energy justice. Prior to Mulago, Rohit held roles at Powerhouse and Breakthrough Energy Ventures. He spent five years at Acumen, both in New York and in Nairobi, where he helped launch the Impact team.

Rohit holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, and AB in Public Policy from Princeton. He's also a jazz and Afrobeat drummer, spends time as a public narrative trainer with the Sunrise Movement, and often gets lost on long runs.
