Stephanie joined Mulago in 2024 to lead our internal operations, including our grants management, HR, and finance functions.

Stephanie has spent the majority of her career working with impact driven NGOs. She spent over a decade at Room to Read, an organization focused on illiteracy and gender inequality that has worked with over 35M kids. She started with managing their volunteers and fundraising operations, and went on to become their Chief of Staff where she led strategic planning and a lot of large projects. Before that, Stephanie was a fundraiser and teacher at a school for low-income kids in New Jersey.

Stephanie holds a BA in International Relations from Brown University. In her free time, she loves to go on adventures in Northern California and explore used bookstores.
