Liza started her career in banking, and was Head of Division for Business Support Services at Standard Chartered Bank in Kenya. She then established a private retail pharmaceutical and distribution company with annual turnover of $1m in Nairobi. With this expertise, she started the Sustainable Healthcare Foundation.
In rural communities, distribution channels often don't reach the poorest people with the most essential products. Liza established the Sustainable Healthcare Foundation to fix that; using an innovative essential healthcare delivery model, CFW shops use a franchise model to extend health products across the country. CFW shops currently operate 64 health outlets in ten districts in Kenya, and has provided over 1 million treatments to community members.
